The IceCap Dual Magnetic Heater Mount is designed to securely hold up to two aquarium heaters in place with strong magnets on your aquarium glass. Keeping your heaters securely in place can prevent them from resting against and damaging other equipment, overheating, and/or floating out of the water and running dry.
The mount gently holds heating elements up to 1" in diameter with its circular cutouts. The cutouts feature silicone grips, which provide space between surfaces for proper heat dissipation.
The magnetic mounts allow for easy removal and maintenance of your heater when necessary. In addition, both the inner and outer magnets are completely sealed, making them safe for the aquarium and its inhabitants.

Yes! The magnets will be fully coated and the outer magnet is as well! I currently have both sides fully submerged in my sump without issue.
