Better Coral Coloration, Growth & Health
- Four-Part System of Trace Elements, Amino Acids & Other Compounds
- Supports Coral Coloration, Growth & Polyp Extension
- Simple, Consistent Once-Weekly Dosing
- Can Be Used With or Without the ZEOvit System
Korallen-Zucht Coral System is a complete four-part supplementation system designed to provide reef aquariums with a broad range of trace elements, amino acids, and other compounds that support coral coloration, growth, polyp extension, and overall aquarium biology.
Instead of dosing a large collection of individual supplements, Coral System divides these additions across four bottles that are designed to be used together in equal amounts. Each component has a different formulation, but all four work together as a complete system.
How the Coral System Works
Corals rely on more than just calcium, alkalinity, and magnesium. A healthy reef aquarium also contains a wide range of trace elements, amino acids, and other compounds that can be consumed over time.
Coral System provides many of these additions through four separate formulas with the same simple dosing schedule. By dosing all four components together, reef keepers can provide a broad range of supplemental elements and compounds without individually managing each one.
Coral System does not contain calcium, carbonate, or magnesium. These major elements should continue to be monitored and supplemented separately as needed.
What to Expect from Coral System
Coral System is designed to support an already healthy, stable reef aquarium by providing a broad range of trace elements, amino acids, and other compounds that may otherwise become limited over time. It can help support coral coloration, growth, polyp extension, and overall health, but it is not a shortcut around the fundamentals of reef keeping.
For best results, calcium, alkalinity, and magnesium should already be stable, nutrient levels should be reasonably consistent, and your corals should have appropriate lighting and flow. Coral coloration is influenced by many factors, including genetics, lighting, nutrients, flow, overall health, and aquarium stability.
Coral System will not automatically turn a brown coral blue or force a particular coral to develop a specific color. Instead, think of it as helping ensure that trace elements and nutritional compounds are not the limiting factor once the rest of the aquarium is already running well.
What's in the Coral System?
Coral System 1
- Contains: Trace elements (nickel, manganese, fluorine, sodium, rubidium, zinc, and vanadium)
- Purpose: Korallen-Zucht primarily associates this part of the system with polyp extension and stronger yellow and green coloration.
Coral System 2:
- Contains: Trace elements (sodium, boron, bromine, strontium, and fluorine)
- Purpose: This part of the system is associated with coral growth, base encrustation, and stronger red, pink, and purple coloration.
Coral System 3:
- Contains: Amino acid and organic compound formula (arginine, alanine, serine, valine, threonine, histidine, glutamine, taurine, and glycine)
- Purpose: Coral System 3 is a little different from the other bottles because it focuses more heavily on the nutritional side of the system. It contains a blend of amino acids along with other organic compounds.
Coral System 4:
- Contains: Trace elements (potassium, fluorine, bromine, and iodine)
- Purpose: Korallen-Zucht associates this part of the system with coral growth, encrustation, and stronger blue and green coloration.
Recommended Dosage
Dosage: Dose 5 mL of each Coral System component per 100 L (approx. 26 gallons) of aquarium water once per week.
Alternatively, divide the weekly amount into smaller doses and automate them with dosing pumps.
