AF Lab Manganum is a highly concentrated manganese supplement for reef aquariums. Manganese is a naturally occurring component of seawater and is necessary for nearly all living organisms. It is involved in numerous metabolic processes and plays an important role in maintaining proper biological function within the aquarium.

Manganese compounds are also used during photosynthesis, making this trace element important for proper coral nutrition. AF Lab Manganum allows manganese levels to be replenished based on the consumption and individual needs of the aquarium.

Recommended Dosage

Concentration:
1 mL of AF Lab Manganum increases the manganese concentration by 0.004 mg/L (ppm) in 100 L (27 US gal) of aquarium water.

Recommended Manganese Level:
0.001–0.0022 mg/L (ppm)

Dosing Guidance:
Dose according to the manganese consumption of your aquarium and regular water testing.

Maximum Safe Daily Dose:
Do not exceed 0.5 mL per 100 L (27 US gal) of aquarium water per day. If a larger adjustment is required, divide the total dose over several days.

Every aquarium is different, and the appropriate dosage will depend on coral stocking and the individual needs of the system. Both deficient and excessive micronutrient levels can negatively affect aquarium inhabitants. Adjust dosing based on regular water testing.

Important Note: These dosing instructions apply to the current AF Lab Manganum formula. Older versions of this product may have different concentration and dosing recommendations. Always follow the instructions provided with your specific bottle.
