AF Lab Fluorum is a highly concentrated fluoride supplement for reef aquariums. Fluorine is one of the main micronutrients found in seawater and can become depleted in closed aquarium systems through protein skimming and filtration.

Fluorine plays a role in calcification and helps support coral skeletal tissue. Sodium fluoride and calcium fluoride are components of coral skeletons, while balanced fluoride supplementation can help strengthen blue and white coloration in SPS corals and enhance fluorescence in many corals. AF Lab Fluorum also contains traces of potassium and iodine.

Recommended Dosage

Concentration:
10 mL of AF Lab Fluorum increases the fluorine concentration by 0.2 mg/L (ppm) in 100 L (27 US gal) of aquarium water.

Recommended Fluorine Level:
1.2–1.4 mg/L (ppm)

Daily Dosage:
Dose 0.3 mL per 100 L (27 US gal) of aquarium water daily.

Maximum Safe Daily Dose:
Do not exceed 20 mL per 100 L (27 US gal) of aquarium water per day. If a larger adjustment is required, divide the total dose over several days.

Every aquarium is different, and the appropriate dosage will depend on coral stocking and the individual needs of the system. Both deficient and excessive micronutrient levels can negatively affect aquarium inhabitants. Adjust dosing based on regular water testing.

Important Note: These dosing instructions apply to the current AF Lab Fluorum formula. Older versions of this product may have different concentration and dosing recommendations. Always follow the instructions provided with your specific bottle.
