Sicce Jolly heaters are extremely durable & virtually unbreakable plastic units that can be placed beneath aquarium gravel or sand for continual heating. They also feature thermal protection to prevent overheating if the heater runs dry. The Jolly heater is always on when submersed, and only stops working when unplugged or removed from the water. They are ideal for small aquariums, terrariums, and paludariums and are especially suitable for turtle tanks due to their flexible placement options, indestructible outer casing, and chew-safe cord covers. Adhesive decorations featuring rock, wood, and plant textures are also included to help blend the heater in with various environments.

The Jolly 20 is designed to increase the temperature of the surrounding water by a few degrees. The exact temperature increase will depend on a couple of factors such as water volume. For example, you should expect the Jolly 20 to increase the water temperature of a 5 gallon aquarium by about 7-8 degrees F, while a 10 gallon aquarium will see an increase of about 3-4 degrees F.
