Ultra-Thin Design

The Zetlight ZT lights are made out of aluminum for a super light and thin design that is attractive to look at. With the moonlight strips even when the main light is off it gives off a beautiful blue accent that will act as a moonlight for your tank.

Smart Fan Technology

With Smart Fan technology the fan will start to turn on as the lights temperature increases and turn off as it decreases keeping your light running at peak performance for a lifetime. The Fan will direct cool air over the aluminum housing while the air intake shroud keeps saltwater and dust out of the cooling fins.

Superior Control

Controlling the Zetlight ZT is very simple with the included on-board interface and infrared remote control, their are well over 999,999 different configurations. If you have a Neptune Apex controller, it is very simple to connect the light to a serial port on a VDM module and program the light.

Flexible Mounting Solutions

Included are easy to install mounting legs that can easily mount onto the rim of any tank up to 1.2" thick. The legs can extend to fit tanks as long as 47" and tuck in as tight as 28.3". A hanging kit can also be used to suspend the fixture from ceilings, wall brackets or inside of a hood. If you are going to mount the light within a canopy we do recommend keeping a few inches between the fan and the top of the canopy to allow proper airflow around the fixture.

Product Questions

Can these be daisy chained to each other to program multiple units to the apex?
Question by: Nick on Jun 20, 2016, 1:29 PM
great question!
These lights are not able to be daisy chained together for function with the apex. Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!

Can this unit be used with Vertex Cerebra
Question by: Jerome Tucker on Jun 18, 2016, 9:14 AM

How does light affect where a person will sit and not be blinded by the light. This light will be almost 5 ft high and my wife is worried about the light shining in our ears
Question by: Robert Escher on Jun 16, 2016, 5:54 PM
Hey there!
With the light being 5 feet high there will certainly be some unavoidable light spillage to shine in your eyes. These lights will typically only impact your eyes when sitting next to the tank.

I was confused by the PAR Value diagram. I would like to clarify if these lights would be appropriate for my tank size of 36L x 18W x 25 H. Thank you very much.
Question by: Gerald on May 30, 2016, 3:30 PM
Great question!
These will work great over a 36 x 1 area. With most Par for high light corals in the center and lower light corals towards the bottom and edges of the tank. Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!

Hi. I have gained a lot of info from other questions asked and a few videos. One question I have that I cannot find an answer to is, will this light create a shadow or line in a 65 gallon tank that has center cross bracing? I would like to think that the LED's are spread out enough that this would not happen but am not completely sure. Only other light I am considering is the Kessill A160we but I am a reefer on a budget and any less spending goes a long way. Thanks and happy memorial day weekend to ya!
Question by: Dan on May 30, 2016, 1:56 PM
Great question!
There will be a slight shadow depending on how high the light is off the tank. This will not be impacting the multi-chip LED and not noticeable in most cases. Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions.

Hi - How do you think 2 of these lights would do for SPS coral in a 6 foot 215 gallon tank? Would love to do the Ecotechs, but feel I would need 3 which would make it very difficult to justify from a financial perspective. Thank you!
Question by: Scott Flinchbaugh on May 11, 2016, 9:30 PM
Great question!
With the average spread being 36" two of the fixtures would work great over a tank of 72" The spread will be not quite 20" deep for SPS growth though to keep in mind the overall depth the lights can penetrate.
Answer by: Connor on May 16, 2016, 9:22 PM
It says the it can be mounted to tanks up to 47" in length. My 75 gallon which appears to be standard size for 75 gallon tanks is 48" in length. Will this light fit using the tank stands?
Question by: Roberto Miller on May 1, 2016, 9:20 AM
Great question! Unfortunately this fixture will not fit 48" tanks.
Answer by: Bob on May 3, 2016, 4:41 PM
Can you chain two together (for a larger tank) and control with the apex as one unit or will the two units need to be controlled separately?
Question by: Matthew Achimon on Apr 21, 2016, 5:51 PM
Great question!
Two cannot be controlled as one with the Apex. An individual apex connection will be required for each light.
Answer by: Connor on Apr 26, 2016, 4:20 PM
is this light reef compatible?
Question by: wyman mckinley on Mar 8, 2016, 10:59 AM
Great question!
This light is designed for coral growth and will work well! It is not reef keeper compatible and currently can run alone or with the apex VDM module and adapter. Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!
