  • Great Build Quality skipped the tubing By Ernest on 6/2/2017

I have this very product that I purchased prior to BRS carrying it. The build quality is great and it's been running for 6 months on a 57g. I haven't had any issues with air seeping into the lines from the connectors. I didn't use the tubing that it comes with (it's a pretty narrow guage) but opted for the tubing that came with my DOS.

Product Questions

Can this be used successfully with NoPox, the other dosing container we purchased leaked when NoPox was used in it?
Question by: Melissa Gooch on Jun 2, 2017 5:26:00 PM
Unfortunately because of the solvent nature of NOPOX, you will want to be careful about what container you use it in. Acrylic containers should be avoided. It can also have evaporation issues due to the methanol content. Red Sea does not recommend using clear containers as exposure to light is to be avoided. Generally we would recommend simply dosing from the supplied container to avoid issues.

Have a great day!
