  • Very simple and easy By Dustin on 9/22/2017

Its very simple to use. Just plug it in, plug the powerheads in, set the cycle time and the percent per pump and away you go. The controller is small enough to hide in the cabinet or behind it. So far I'm happy with it.
  • Update on controller By Jeremy on 4/15/2017

Well I have had this controller almost a year...and I started to slowly notice something with it. Okay so here it is. The first thing I noticed is that about 2 or 3 months ago the controller started to what I though not work properly. For example, I have it set for each power head to go on for 5 minutes both a equal times. Well I noticed that at some times none of the blue lights were on? Sure enough, I put my hand in the tank and no flow...hmmmm? So I would tap the red button and the pumps would turn on and the blue lights would be on. Well so I though maybe its just a glitch...it kept happening. Then I noticed that while that problem seemed to have gone away at times a new one arose. I noticed that I had put the night mode on and then it had been staying on night mode almost the entire next day! My night mode starts at 2 AM and is suppose to end around 9 or 10...I keep my lights on a late night schedule. Well the night mode started to stay on like I said the entire day. The blue green light would keep flashing and so forth and so forth. Maybe I just got a bad one that went bad prematurely, but I have to be honest, it took me a long time to figure out this thing was really bad as opposed to user error...and to be honest I think its been like this for quite a few months and I just sort of didnt really notice it....or something, and I have to say I think its been the cause of some really slow coral growth. I think the controller while I thought had been working was working...just intermediately, and here and there...it could have been keeping the pumps off for hours and I didnt know it...which would explain some other problems in my tank currently...overall its a great controller, I think I just got a bad one, and that this is something to watch out for when purchasing the controller.
  • Good controller By Jeremy on 5/17/2016

Good controller here...for the price you pay it's fairly simple to understand, the night mode I will say is pretty neat and overall once you read the directions is relatively easy to understand :). Definitely a plus if you have any other sicce powerheads

Product Questions

With the feed mode is that something you program into the pump, and then when you are ready to use the setting you just click the center red button or what? Having trouble figuring that one out.

Great question!
The feed mode will simply be a button you press and will hold the pumps for 10 minutes then turn back on. Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions!
