Prodibio Start Up is a two-part aquarium startup system that combines BioDigest Start beneficial bacteria with Stop Ammo Start ammonia protection to help establish biological filtration quickly and safely. The beneficial bacteria begin working immediately when they come into contact with oxygen in the aquarium water, with no reactivation period required.

BioDigest Start contains natural nitrifying, denitrifying, and facultative bacterial strains selected to rapidly initiate the nitrogen cycle by transforming ammonia into nitrite, nitrite into nitrate, and nitrate into nitrogen. Stop Ammo Start complements these bacteria with plant-based extracts that trap nitrogen from ammonia and convert it into harmless compounds. Used together, the two formulas help support a stable biological filter while reducing the risks associated with ammonia during aquarium startup.

When Should You Use Start Up?

• When starting a new freshwater or saltwater aquarium.
• When restarting or renovating an established aquarium.
• To help accelerate the establishment of biological filtration.
• To help manage ammonia while the aquarium's nitrogen cycle becomes established.
• When cycling aquariums with dry rock or substrate.

How it Works

Dose one ampoule each of BioDigest Start and Stop Ammo Start every 15 days. The contents of both products can be added at the same time.

Dosage:
1 BioDigest ampoule treats up to 250 gallons.
1 Stop Ammo ampoule treats up to 50 gallons.

Step 1
Shake the ampoule to mix all ingredients.

Step 2
Place the cap on the ampoule tip and gently press with your thumb to snap it open.

Step 3
Over your aquarium, turn the ampoule upside down so the open end is facing downward. Place the cap on the opposite tip and snap it open to release the contents.

Note: When dosing the BioDigest component, turn off UV sterilizers, ozone systems, and protein skimmers for approximately four hours to give the bacteria time to colonize the aquarium and biological filtration media.
