NYOS® REEFER test kits - taking measurements at the laboratory level at an attractive price
Water properties as close to nature are the key for every aquarium's success. However, monitoring relevant parameters in seawater is difficult due to numerous interfering ions. Therefore, test kits considering the specific characteristics of seawater are needed to analyse the water precisely.
NYOS® REEFER test kits offer the customer two significant benefits:
Highly precise analyses for seawater conditions. Furthermore, they offer a highly attractive price-performance ration and make test kits in laboratory quality affordable for the standard hobby user.
Additional characteristics of our REEFER test kits:
- calibrated dropper made by a German manufacturer ensures uniform drops during all repeat tests
- reagents are made in Germany in accordance with EN ISO 9001
- reagents are analysed according to AAS and NIST standards
- strict batch and quality control
- easy to use with intuitive pictogram instructions
- Made in Germany
NYOS® REEFER test kits allows you to achieve precise and most importantly reproducible (i.e. in repeat measurements identical) measuring results.
Not for low levels By Mark on 2/3/2018Mark wouldn't recommend this product to a friendThis test kit is easy enough to use and works fine for levels above 0.10, however, if you are going for very low levels of phosphate, 0.075 or less, this kit does not create a discernible color difference from 0.000 to 0.0750
Works... I think? By David on 1/18/2016David would recommend this product to a friendI purchased a nyos kit to try a different brand. I have Salifert for Ca And Kh and wanted to compare products. In the Nyos kit the test bottles are glass and it uses 2 bottles that are filled to 20ml. One bottle is the control sample the other gets the reagent. The test us a color chart comparison. I would prefer a titration test to a color chart. It works i think. Im running a brs reactor with GFO so my results are consistently zero. Not sure on accuracy since I dont have any other phosphate tests experience to compare with. Glass bottles are a pain in the ass, almost broke one first time I used it. I will try a Salifert phosphate test next to see which is better. Its quality even if the glass bottles are very slippery when wet.
