The CITR3 is popular for All-in-One aquariums or systems that don't have room for a full in-sump refugium. They're the perfect way to provide a small space to grow macroalgae such as chaetomorpha and include a small pump for circulation. As an added benefit, many small organisms such as copepods may also take refuge there and multiply, providing a steady source of natural food for fish and corals.
