  • Keep waste and particles suspended longer so skimmers and filters have a better chance of removing them.
  • Prevent toxic pockets from forming in hard to reach areas.

Product Questions

I just was forced the other day to move all my rockwork, fish ,corals, and other livestock out of my 16 gallon biocube into another tank after the biocube sprung a leak that I could not fix. The new tank is a standard 29 gallon tank I got from Petco during there $1 per gallon sale. I currently have only a Hydor Koralia Nano powerhead that came from the now defunct biocube. I know that is not enough flow, but am not sure what would be a good choice or what would be too strong. What would you recommend for a replacement powerhead(s)? Also I guess a controller for it so I can maybe not have it on nonstop, which I noticed generally upsets my Euphyllias.

Hey there,

I would really suggest looking at the Tunze nanostream. It is a very good powerhead for smaller tanks.

Take care
