- Barb X Push-Lock Coupling - Colder
Push-Lock Couplings and Adapters can make water changes and other maintenance chores a breeze. By having them hooked up to reactors, pumps, and water change hoses you can easily use the same pump that runs your reactor to drain your sump for a water change. The interchangeable sizes make them really handy for endless applications around the reef tank.
- High Flow
- Patented ergonomic design
- Large thumb latch
- Interchangeable between sizes
- High quality o-ring

Completed Push-Lock Fittings require 1 coupling and 1 adapter (sold separately).
Please see compatibility chart in full details below.
These high flow Push-Lock fittings are an awesome addition to any aquarium. You can now have the ability with the simply push of a finger to disconnect your carbon reactor, ATO pump, return pump or any other piece of plumbing in or around your aquarium. Their patented, ergonomic, easy to use design uses grey polypropylene plastic, and high quality o-rings for a lifetime of service.
The design of the Push-Lock fittings allows any coupling to be used with any size coupling. If you need to use a 1/2" coupling you can use any adapter, even 3/4". The push-lock side of the fittings do not change in size.
Anti-Drip fittings will seal off the coupling end any time the connection between the fittings is disconnected. This is super handy for reactors, ATO containers, saltwater mixing systems, and other filtration equipment. We do not recommend Anti-Drip fittings with water export systems due to the increased chance of particles like sand or shells becoming lodged in the Anti-Drip valve.

Yes, a bit flow restrictive... By David on 3/23/2017David would recommend this product to a friendBut I don't mind losing a little flow to gain the interchangeable fit with both 3/4" and 1/2" hose connectors. I certainly haven't found anything better anywhere.
Perfect for my RODI & mixing station.
Isn't ture 3/4" throughput By Jazmyne on 10/4/2016Jazmyne wouldn't recommend this product to a friendI bought the 3/4" adapter to connect a filter teed off from my overflow. The adapter fits 3/4" plumbing but is not 3/4" the whole way through. It narrows down to less than 1/2" and has an even smaller plug that's open when connected. Probably works, but there's no way you're going to get water flow even close to a 3/4" pipe. Sad panda, will be returning the product.
Feels like quality work. I give 5 starts for it. But only one star for not being a true 3/4" fitting. If you're not too keen on flow

Is this a two-piece assembly? Will the 3/4" male end fit into a 3/4" Slip Slip & FPT tee? I plan on installing the tee just before a ball valve so I can change water from my sump. Is there anything else I need besides this and the tee?
These push-lock assemblies do require a coupler and an adapter, which are sold separately. The current product you are inquiring about with a barb x push lock will not be able to connect to pvc and is meant to be used with flexible hose, but we do offer an npt threaded x push-lock version which could be used with threaded pvc connections.
Have a great day!
