  • Good pump By Travis on 11/17/2014

Good pump, a little loud but works good.
  • While I wish there was a combo that came with just the pump and the PS, this performed as expected. By Phil on 10/22/2014

I suspected my water pressure was low when after only about 60 gallons I burned through nearly 1/3rd of my DI resin. I purchased a BRS pressure gauge (SKU: 200215) and discovered that the pressure coming from under my sink where I connected my RODI system inline was around 45PSI. As we all know I need >60PSI for my 150GPD Upgraded RODI system to operate optimally. I purchased the booster pump (SKU: 207951) and it did exactly what it was supposed to do! I set it up inline between my water source and my RODI unit, plugged in the power supply (SKU: 200201) and my water pressure went up from 44 to ~95. Not only did I see an increase in RODI production to the 175GPD (as expected), but I'm using less than HALF the DI resin I was before.
  • Why is this seprate from the pump? By Ralph on 10/15/2014

I read the reviews before I bought the booster pump and I read the data sheets on this and the pump. The question was why are they separate if you need both to run? If the power supply dies do you want to have to buy a new pump? I don't. I want to buy only what I need. By splitting these you buy what you need and only what you need. It would be easier for them to stock both parts as one unit and only sell them as a set but then you need a pomp and you have to buy both. Thanks BRS for thinking about the user and not what is easiest or most profitable for you!
  • Don't make this mistake By Manfred on 2/18/2014

I owned a 6800 version of the Aquatec Booster pump and thought the power supply for that pump would work on the 8800. Well, it did until I felt it getting much hotter than it should and realized there was a difference. The power supply never stopped working but it was obvious to me there was a problem. I had to order this power supply which is specifically made for the 8800. The 8800 is an excellent pump that has boosted my system to 82 from the 50 I was getting with the 6800.
  • Power Supply By Michael on 2/28/2012

If you buy the "KIT" the power supply comes with the booster. If you don't need the pressure switch, like I didn't then you buy them separately and save $$. Seems simple enough to me if you just read the description. Booster and power supply are a great product, I couldn't run my RO/DI without it.
  • works with the booster pump By paul on 2/27/2012

the transformer works with the pump.
it hooks right in the wire from the pump.
  • Should come with By Steven on 5/17/2011

This power cord should come with the Pump.
  • Pleasantly surpised by the length of the cord! By Zeph on 7/31/2010

I have a truck-mounted tank for washing cars, and I've mounted my aquatec booster pump on the tank, this power supply cord was more than long enough to reach all the way up to the engine compartment of the truck where my power inverter is mounted. I was expecting to have to use an extension cord, but I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and saw how generous the cord length was! Great product!
