AF Lab Zincum is a highly concentrated zinc supplement for reef aquariums. Zinc is an important seawater micronutrient and a component of many enzymes involved in biological processes, including protein metabolism.

Zinc also plays a role in cell division and tissue repair while supporting growth. Because it is an important trace element in seawater, Aquaforest recommends regularly replenishing zinc based on the consumption and individual needs of the aquarium.

Recommended Dosage

Concentration:
1 mL of AF Lab Zincum increases the zinc concentration by 4 µg/L in 100 L (27 US gal) of aquarium water.

Dosing Guidance:
Dose according to the zinc consumption of your aquarium and regular water testing.

Maximum Recommended Daily Dose:
Do not exceed 1 mL per 100 L (27 US gal) of aquarium water per day. If a larger adjustment is required, divide the total dose over several days.

Every aquarium is different, and the appropriate dosage will depend on coral stocking and the individual needs of the system. Both deficient and excessive micronutrient levels can negatively affect aquarium inhabitants. Adjust dosing based on regular water testing.

Important Note: These dosing instructions apply to the current AF Lab Zincum formula. Older versions of this product may have different concentration and dosing recommendations. Always follow the instructions provided with your specific bottle.
