AF Lab Molybdenum is a highly concentrated molybdenum supplement for reef aquariums. Molybdenum occurs naturally in seawater and is involved in several important biological processes, including nitrogen transformation and binding, protein biosynthesis, and vitamin C biosynthesis.

Maintaining appropriate molybdenum levels is important because deficiency can slow growth or inhibit it entirely. AF Lab Molybdenum allows molybdenum levels to be replenished based on the consumption and individual needs of the aquarium.

Recommended Dosage

Concentration:
1 mL of AF Lab Molybdenum increases the molybdenum concentration by 0.004 mg/L (ppm) in 100 L (27 US gal) of aquarium water.

Recommended Molybdenum Level:
0.0045–0.012 mg/L (ppm)

Dosing Guidance:
Dose according to the molybdenum consumption of your aquarium and regular water testing.

Maximum Safe Daily Dose:
Do not exceed 1 mL per 100 L (27 US gal) of aquarium water per day. If a larger adjustment is required, divide the total dose over several days.

Every aquarium is different, and the appropriate dosage will depend on coral stocking and the individual needs of the system. Both deficient and excessive micronutrient levels can negatively affect aquarium inhabitants. Adjust dosing based on regular water testing.

Important Note: These dosing instructions apply to the current AF Lab Molybdenum formula. Older versions of this product may have different concentration and dosing recommendations. Always follow the instructions provided with your specific bottle.
