AF Lab Cobaltum is a highly concentrated cobalt supplement for reef aquariums. Cobalt is an important trace element that supports metabolic processes and plays a role in the coloration of fish. It is also essential for the growth of certain beneficial algae, bacteria, and other organisms.

Cobalt is also a component of vitamin B12, making it an important element for biological processes within the aquarium. AF Lab Cobaltum allows cobalt levels to be precisely replenished based on the consumption and individual needs of the aquarium.

Recommended Dosage

Concentration:
1 mL of AF Lab Cobaltum increases the cobalt concentration by 0.001 mg/L (ppm) in 100 L (27 US gal) of aquarium water.

Recommended Cobalt Level:
0.0001–0.0006 mg/L (ppm)

Dosing Guidance:
Dose according to the cobalt consumption of your aquarium and regular water testing.

Maximum Safe Daily Dose:
Do not exceed 1 mL per 100 L (27 US gal) of aquarium water per day. If a larger adjustment is required, divide the total dose over several days.

Every aquarium is different, and the appropriate dosage will depend on coral stocking and the individual needs of the system. Both deficient and excessive micronutrient levels can negatively affect aquarium inhabitants. Adjust dosing based on regular water testing.

Important Note: These dosing instructions apply to the current AF Lab Cobaltum formula. Older versions of this product may have different concentration and dosing recommendations. Always follow the instructions provided with your specific bottle.
