The new apex controller lets you directly connect your WAV pumps to the EnergyBar 832. The WAV pumps don't take up any additional outlets on the EB832 and plug into the 1Link ports built into the power bar letting you control more equipment through the Apex for less money!

Product Questions
I only have two inches between a wall and the aquarium. Is that enough room for the magnet mount for these pumps?

Was wondering if this has a build in battery back up and if you recommended plugging into one if not?

Hi there,
Thank you for your question, this product does not have a build in battery. The Wav Pumps are powered directly from the Apex and cannot be plugged in to a separate batter back up. Then connecting the EB832 to a UPS battery back up won't give you too much runtime, heaters and some other pieces of equipment would exhaust the charge too quick.
