The Kessil AP9XE is a 185W LED light designed to provide broad, even coverage for saltwater reef aquariums. It uses Kessil's Dense Matrix LED technology and Tuna Blue spectrum to support coral growth and coloration while producing the natural shimmer Kessil lights are known for. A single fixture can cover up to 48" x 24" for mixed reef aquariums or 36" x 24" for SPS-dominant systems. Built-in Wi-Fi and cloud-based controls make it easy to customize your lighting schedule, adjust the spectrum, and manage your aquarium lighting remotely.

What's New with the AP9XE?

The AP9XE builds on the original AP9X with more light output and updated controls while maintaining the same compact design and 185W power consumption.

• 10% More Light Output: The AP9XE delivers approximately 10% more light than the original AP9X without increasing power consumption, giving reef keepers additional lighting output from the same fixture size.
• New Cloud-Based Controls: Built-in Wi-Fi connects the AP9XE to Kessil's cloud-based control platform. You can adjust your lighting, create schedules, and manage your fixtures remotely without downloading a dedicated app.
• Easier Schedule Management: Lighting schedules can be saved, shared, and restored, making it easier to replicate settings across aquariums or return to a previous configuration.
• Remote Guest Access: The new control platform allows you to grant access to aquarium maintenance professionals or other trusted users who can help configure and adjust your lighting remotely.
