I am looking at this tank and need a light that doesn't extend higher than 3.5 inches above the top. Any suggestions?
There really is not going to be a light that I would recommend to go 3" off the water. It would likely get ruined from the humidity there and water splashing. Also, the spread on the lights would be next to nothing in the tank.
I have the old version pump with my 30L. If I upgrade to the newer pump, will the small amount of GPM with this pump give me better flow in the tank and not have to use an additional circ pump, (the one I am using now is to much for my tank) The original pump is 476 gpm, the newer version is 476. I also have two of the spin stream nozzles
It would still be recommended to keep a powerhead in the tank as well to create variable flow in the tank.
