Get Started with a Nano Saltwater Aquarium Kit
The Mr. Aqua 25 Gallon Aquarium Starter Kit includes everything you will need to start a successful reef tank. Starting with a beautiful 25-gallon cube and 20 pounds of Reef Saver Dry Live Rock you can create a beautiful aquascape that will provide the habitat to your fish and corals. Once your aquascape is created the bottom of the tank can be covered with the included live sand and then water can be added. After that, add the saltwater and let it cycle. We even include a bottle of Dr. Tim's One & Only Live Nitrifying Bacteria to help speed up the initial cycle and also to ensure success with your first fish.

Aquarium Dimensions - 18" L x 18" W x 18" H
Cube aquariums bring a custom aquarium look at a fraction of the cost of a true custom. The 18" x 18" dimensions give ample amount of swimming room, leaving you a lot of options on the fish you want to keep, but where the 25 gallon Mr. Aqua aquarium really shines as an anemone and clownfish tank or with other animals that have a symbiotic relationship. Cube aquariums are pretty easy to aquascape the 18" height of the tank allows you to keep a wide variety of corals throughout the aquarium.

With HyperDrive technology, you can now take the unused power from other LED channels to over-drive other channels, producing more light. 20 Pounds MarcoRocks Reef Saver Aquarium Dry Live Rock
100% pest free, Reef Saver rock is by far the cleanest rock available, and with the chemical-free cleaning process every rock goes through it is hard to find an aquarium dry live rock that can give you the best possible start to lead to a successful reef aquarium. Reef Saver is one of the only sustainable options available for live rock and is not harvested out of the ocean, meaning that the removal does not hard any coral reefs making it one of our favorite types of dry live rock.
20 Pounds CaribSea Special Grade Arag-Alive Sand
The larger particle size of CaribSea's Special Grade Sand keeps it in place even in some of the most high-flow aquariums. We have found that with the smaller particle sands, you need to be very conscious about how much and the direction of the flow within the tank or the sand may end up on one side of your aquarium. Special Grade sand is small enough for most gobies to sift through while being big enough not to be blown around with reasonable flow.
Tropic Marin Pro Reef Aquarium Salt - 80 Gallon Mix
Using a quality salt is an easy way to ensure you are starting your aquarium off on the right foot. Tropic Marin Pro Salt mixes fast and can be used for any type of saltwater tank, with the balanced trace elements and optimized calcium and alkalinity levels, if you want to keep coral, you can know that they will have everything they need from the salt to be healthy and grow.
Bulk Reef Supply Refractometer with Calibration Solution
Easily and quickly measure the salinity of your freshly mixed saltwater or the aquarium water. By just taking a few drops of water and placing it on the prism lens, you can look through the eyepiece to see the amount of salt in the water. For almost all saltwater aquariums we aim for 35 PPT or 1.026 SG, and using a refractometer makes it easy to target and maintain the salinity.
530 GPH Sicce Voyager Nano Stream Pump
Sicce Voyager powerheads are super quiet yet powerful. The 530 GPH of flow coming out of a single voyager nano is perfect for water movement in tanks up to 40 gallons and can be placed on a simple on/off timer to give an oscillating (wave) effect throughout the aquarium. The kit comes with two pumps, both of which can be used in the aquarium, or one in the aquarium and the other one to mix fresh saltwater.
Temperature is easily one of the most critical components of a healthy reef tank and is also one of the leading causes of failures. Eheim Jager heaters are by far one of the most reliable heaters on the market today, and with the included calibration ring, can be pretty darn accurate too. We do like to connect every heater to a secondary controller, but if there is one that we would forgo the controller for it would be the Eheim Jager.
What good is an aquarium with nothing in it? Good for up to 60-gallons of water, Dr. Tim's One & Only Live Nitrifying Bacteria allows you to do a fishless cycle with your aquarium, but also is the perfect additive to dose right before adding new fish. The bacteria will help stabilize and instantly create a biological filter that can help eliminate harmful toxins from building up that could be harmful to your fish.
250mL Brightwell Erase-CL Dechlorinator
Ensuring your water does not contain any chlorine is essential to preparing your water, and using Brightwell's Erase-CL will ensure any chlorine, chloramines, and ammonia will be detoxified from the water. The gold standard for preparing water would be an RO/DI system, but we have found Erase-CL to be more than effective at preparing most tap waters for a saltwater aquarium.
