The lights are protected by an acrylic splash guard that accents the lights overall aesthetics while providing a solid mounting location. The included mounting bracket can clamp securely on to the back of your tank.

Programming By Michael on 5/19/2019Michael would recommend this product to a friendThe lights are great, beats my old aqueon lights that I had prior. Only paid $30 more for these lights and it’s for sure an upgrade. But with the aqueans the settings were much simpler. Clear cut, easy to do. Had them preset to come on and off by themselves. I’ve had the zetlight for 2 days and I thought I had it set up correctly, I read the manual and followed all the steps. For some reason they are not going on and off by itself. I went thru the demo, it worked fine. Closed out of that and it just won’t work. Anybody know what’s going on or having similar problems?
very good nano reef light for the price. By cyberfinch on 4/4/2019cyberfinch would recommend this product to a friendmy only regret was buying another, when they had them on sale
Almost perfect for the Waterbox 4 gallon By GillsGoneWild on 9/2/2018GillsGoneWild would recommend this product to a friendThis little light works perfectly with the Waterbox 4. The programming of the timers is actually quite easy despite some of the reviews I read. Pretty intuitive really.
Looks nice and puts out a good amount of light for our mushrooms. Only been going for a week so I can’t really comment on the growth, but they look happy!
It workes ok. By small_ocean_girl on 6/15/2018small_ocean_girl wouldn't recommend this product to a friendI have had this light on my tank for 6 months with almost no prolems. I really just don't like how non-user friendly it is. I can't get all the settings it says it has to work. The instructon manual isn't very helpful either. This is my first ever saltwater tank so it could have just been me.
Great nano light By Cody on 3/4/2018Cody would recommend this product to a friendI’m running this light over a 15 gallon tank filled with soft coral and so far they seem to be doing ok with it. The light doesn’t spread all the way to the edges but gets good penetration through the middle 2/3 of the tank lengthwise. This light looks really sleek over a rimless tank and I barely even notice it with the acrylic mounts. Built in controller/timer is a nice plus. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because the programming is a bit weird. The colors blend nicely and are fairly straightforward to set up, but with mine the actinic and daylight settings seem to be pre-set which makes a smooth sunrise-sunset and moonlighting transition very difficult. Maybe mine is defective or maybe not. I’m still happy with it. It does what I bought it for and at a decent price.
Good Nano Light for IM Nuvo 10 gallon By Michael on 1/16/2018Michael would recommend this product to a friendI bought this light during the door buster sale. I have to say at the door buster price (about $ 56-60) I am very happy with the light. The color is great and I love how the corals pop. The light is fairly easy to set up and to program if you read the directions. You will have to mount it on the inner rim of the filter compartment to have the light placed more forward on the tank. I just took some par readings and I am happy with the par for the price. At max intensity and the light mounted 7 inches above water level I got 300 par at the surface of the water, 90 par 4 inches from water surface, 75 par 5-6 inches from water surface, and 40-50 par 10-11 inches from water surface near the bottom of the tank. I did get higher readings up against the glass at the bottom of about 80 par, but that is probably due to the reflective properties of the glass (see the BRS investigates videos). Overall I am happy with the light and would suggest it to anyone with a 10 gallon tank or smaller. If it is a door buster I would not hesitate in buying it.
Great LED for 5-gallon mixed Pico Reef! By Dan on 1/10/2018Dan would recommend this product to a friendPurchased this light on a doorbuster sale back in November. Amazing light that I have already seen great color and growth of corals including SPS! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9m75eEZP3g
Great lighting for my frag tank. By Julio on 1/9/2018Julio would recommend this product to a friendHave two of these ZA-1201-L lights hanging over 9 inches above my 40 gal Breeder frag tank which gave me the perfect light spread. I Could not use the light mounts that these came with as it did not fit on my 40b plastic frame so I suspended mines. The controller could have been easier friendly by manufacturer but it does the job. My Los, and some Sps frags pop like crazy with these leds. Great bang for the buck on these lights folks.
Great light By broc on 11/25/2017broc would recommend this product to a friendMy brother was moving and gave me a small all in one 14 gallon cube. The lights needed to be replaced and he never had any luck with the PC lights included. I took out the PC lights and cut a hole in the top so the cooling fins would stick out and it fit great with just alittle adhesive. Fast forward 4 months and I have everything spreading like wild fire in the tank from zoas, mushrooms, LPS and some SPS. Big bang for the buck for a small nano tank and the colors look nice. Only negative with my setup is the light is a little close to the water and its more of a whitish look. If you use the included arm the color is perfect and the coral POP with very vibrant colors. Since I want the hood to keep fish from jumping out, the small lack in color is okay with me.
Fantstic Light By Finis on 5/3/2017Finis would recommend this product to a friendThe light itself looks sleek and made well. Programing was tricky at first but made sense after reading the instructions a couple more times. 5 modes you can program. The leds blend well. No disco ball look. Very bright. Looking at the bigger zet lights for my 75g.
Good Nano Light, awesome for the price By Scott Maurer on 4/12/2017Scott Maurer would recommend this product to a friendI've only had it running for a couple weeks but the color is great and the corals are growing. It is a little bit tricky to program and you don't get the same kind of control of other lights but it is cheaper by a lot than any other system on the market.
Will this light's mount fit onto a standard plastic trim 10 gallon tank? Without any modification?
In a standard 10 gallon tank, would this light be sufficient for anemones?
I have a 20gal tall tank that I plan on setting up soon and was wondering if this would be enough for that tank size I'm only going to have soft corals in it to start with.
While this may be sufficient for low light softies, I would say this is pretty marginal. You'd likely see better results with something a little more powerful. I would say this is really more ideal for very small pico reefs of 5-10 gallons.
