A dedicated refugium light helps turn a small rear chamber or sump section into a more productive space for natural nutrient export. By providing consistent, targeted illumination for Chaetomorpha and other macroalgae, the UNS Mini Refugium Light supports healthy growth while helping the refugium perform its role in the overall filtration system.
Easy Magnetic Mounting
Includes a magnetic disk that adheres to most surfaces, like aquarium stands or sump lids.
Inline Remote Control
Easily control light intensity, color temperature, and timer settings. It can also be mounted securely to aquarium stands using its magnetic holder.
Compatibility
The magnetic slip-in Mini Refugium Light fits all UNS Dual All-In-One Aquariums with a UNS Refugium. It also attaches to UNS Reef Systems sump chamber lids using clear acrylic clips (sold separately).
Setup Guide
ON/OFF
Press and hold the UN button to turn the Mini Refugium Light on or off.
Set Color
Press the UN button once to change the color option. Toggle between 8 color options by pressing and cycling through F01–F08. Press SET to confirm your selection.
Power Mode
Press and hold the UN button to switch between Schedule Mode and Always On Mode.
- AS = Schedule Mode
- AC = Always On Mode
By default, the device powers on in AS mode. To change modes, double-press the UN button.
Set Current Time
Hold SET for 3 seconds. The hour will flash first. Use the up and down buttons to select the current hour, then press SET to move to minutes. Use the up and down buttons to select the current minute, then press SET again to confirm the current time.
Set Brightness
Press or hold the up and down buttons to increase or decrease brightness.
Brightness can be adjusted between 10–100% by increasing from d01–d10.
Set Schedule
After setting the current time, select the desired ON time by setting the hour first, then the minutes.
Next, set the desired OFF time by setting the hour first, then the minutes.
Note: If no colon is displayed, the time is AM. If a colon is displayed, the time is PM.
