- T5 HO Miro-4 Retrofit Kit - LET Lighting
Add to your canopy with the Miro-4 T5 High Output Retrofit Kit from LET Lighting. Retrofit kits give you the flexibility to add T5 lamps virtually to any tank, while keeping a low overall cost. T5 lighting can either be the main light source or supplemental light to another light source like LED or metal halide. The overall spread and coverage of T5 HO lighting makes them really hard to beat.
- Quiet, cool operation
- Add to existing lighting, or as main light source
- Flexible to many different applications
- Easy to follow instructions
We really like the control and flexibility that T5 retrofit kits give. If you do not want to invest into a fixture, or you have a canopy that will not allow a properly sized fixture inside of it, retrofit kits are the way to go. They can be installed almost anywhere, and the color coded wiring harness makes wiring a breeze. LET includes high quality individual parabolic reflectors made from 96% German reflective aluminum allowing light to be evenly spread across your tank, virtually eliminating hot spots and shadows.

Great combo w Kessil AP700 By Gtatuskfish on 11/6/2018Gtatuskfish would recommend this product to a friend"fills" the shadows left under SPS on my 120 that had only a Kessil AP700. Will likely add another set of 2 T5's to go with this first set of 2.
Great kit By Joe on 9/6/2018Joe would recommend this product to a friendHave gotten 4 sets of these and they are great units easy to assemble...missed 5th star rating as reflectors get stained easy by salt water splash/mist and get pitted....reflectors are not cheap either..
Very Simple to use By Zach on 12/7/2017Zach would recommend this product to a friendThis is incredibly simple to use and setup, however you have to get creative to mount it if you don't have a canopy. That's not the fault of the product, just something to keep in mind.
works very well By alex on 11/26/2017alex would recommend this product to a friendworks really well and is a great supplement to my chinese box leds. I don't know if I had missed how far away to space the sockets for the bulbs. It took a couple tries to get it right since you want it close but not too close you can take the bulbs out from the bottom of the sockets. overall a really good product
Few minor complaints but it does its job well By William on 11/13/2017William would recommend this product to a friendOverall I'm happy with this kit but there were a few things that bothered me with the kit and instructions. Instructions are lacking and refer to their website for instructional videos (which would have been very helpful and appreciated) but they website they send you to is one page with minimal content and doesn't provide much more instruction than what comes with the kit. Future buyers of this kit could definitely benefit from a BRS TV instructional video on this kit.
After a little ingenuity and guesswork on my part I was able to get it up and running and am pleased with the end results. However, I'm not sure if I would recommend this over putting together your own kit with cheaper t5 sockets that are available elsewhere. The price for this kit is high and the bulbs themselves already cost a pretty penny. That being said, the waterproof sockets for the bulbs give a little extra peace of mind and the reflectors do a remarkable job of reflecting.
Simple and Good Price By Pump Action Jackson on 9/6/2017Pump Action Jackson would recommend this product to a friendI used two of these kits in my reef tank canopy, they are fairly simple and cheap. I would by them again if building another system.
Excellent By Joe on 4/21/2017Joe would recommend this product to a friendThis T5 retrofit kit is definitely worth the money I combined four 48 inch Sets with two 24 inch sets for and 11 foot long 30 inch wide reef tank. The light spread is awesome thanks to the quality of the reflectors it's fairly easy to install and works great with ATI bulbs.
Great product, easy to install By Emmanuel - AcuaTV on 4/17/2017Emmanuel - AcuaTV would recommend this product to a friendI have been using this product for about 6 months now and it is great. Installation was easier than I thought since when I opened the box it seemed a bit overwhelming but the instructions are pretty self explanatory. Using it as supplement for my SB Reef Lights to have better coverage in all areas of the tank.
Great lower cost retrofit option By Eric on 12/19/2016Eric would recommend this product to a friendWorks well to add to my existing LEDs. Assembled easily and I can position them as I like (I separated them on opposite sides of my LEDs) in my canopy. Saved some $$$ for other things.
What is the width of the reflector?
Thank you for reaching out with your question.
The reflector width is about 2 inches. The kit is really. We used it on our BRS 160 and are really happy with it.
Please let us know if you have any other questions.
What is the depth of the fixtures front to back?
Thank you for reaching out with your question
The fixtures are approximately 2 inches wide from front to back per reflector.
If you have any other questions, let us know
Hello, Do the two bulbs have to be mounted side by side? Or can one be on one side of my canopy and the other be on the other side? Roughly they would be 15-18" apart. Thanks
With the LET Retrofit kits, you can decide where you want the bulbs. They do not need to be side by side since there is enough wire to create a 2-foot gap between the two bulbs if you wish to put a LED or MH light in the center creating a hybrid lighting system.
Thanks for the question and have a great day!
