Tool Free Maintenance
Most pumps on the market today require you to dig into your tool box, but the Sicce SDC pump does not! The pre-chamber can be removed without any tools, giving you access to the impeller for cleaning and inspection. We have found the easier something is to maintain the more likely we are to do it, and with maintenance being the key to a long lasting pump the SDC hit it out of the park.
Sicce has been known for producing extremely quiet pump but the SDC is on a whole new level. Each SDC has a polished ceramic shaft and bearings that are held to tighter tolerances that promote a much smoother function minimizing any possible vibration. Along with Sicces newly designed rubber feet that help reduce noise from all sides of the pump. Since the feet stick out a slight bit from the pump body you can push the pump right up against the side of your sump until the feet hit.
Sicce has a proprietary hydraulic design for their SDC pumps that help relieve the heat, along with high-quality components that go into every pump. They also have forced internal recirculation that helps promote less heat transfer.

Very quiet pump By Dustin on 9/21/2017Dustin would recommend this product to a friendI like how quiet this pump runs. I have to stick my head into my cabinet to hear it going. Its easy to install and even easier to take apart and clean if needed. I took my apart before I installed it just to see how hard it would be. The controller it comes with is very simple to use and better than the app you can download. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the wifi/app use. I hooked it to the app and used my phone to run it no problem. It does the same thing the controller does without the wire. The huge problem I ran into was when the power flashes on and off the pump shuts down and does not turn back on until you pull your phone out and tell it to turn back on. When I ran this pump without the wifi it had no problems after a power failure. The controller flashed but the pump returned to whatever it was set at before the power went out. I have since removed it from the app and returned it to the controller. Otherwise, I would be checking my phone every ten minutes to make sure the pump was running.
overall I would say this pump is a great pump with a large amount of flexibility as far as how many gallons per hour you can flow. I bought this knowing my tank was to small for this pump so I am running it at about 40% its rated capacity but in a year or two when I get a bigger tank, I will already have a pump.
