- Magnetic Mounting
- Ultimate DC Control
- Multiple Pre-Set Flow Modes
- Includes Photo-Sensor
- Perfect for AIO Aquariums
Through the included controller interface you can customize your flow, connect multiple pumps together, enable feed mode, or lock the pump from setting changes. Every controller has a large LCD display that makes it is easy to see the pumps current speed and LED light indicators to show you what mode you currently have enabled. Skimz even took things a step farther with the onboard photo-sensor, and with night-mode enabled, the pumps speed will automatically lower when the lights go out.
6 Different Flow Modes:
- Short Pulse
- Long Pulse
- Tidal Wave
- Oceanic Current
- Constant Flow
- Alternate Flow
Isolated Magnetic Mounting
Every SuperSilent Wavemaker includes a magnetic mounting system that can let the pump rotate 360°, placing flow in any direction you need it. With rubber isolators between the pump and inner magnet, the small amount of vibration is muffled down to virtually nothing keeping the pump dead silent. With a thin outer magnet, SuperSilent pumps are perfect for all-in-one aquariums or where external mounting space may be tight.

Good so far By Joel on 3/1/2020Joel would recommend this product to a friendI bought this pump about 6 months back and so far so good. I like it's compact size and the various options for water pushing are nice. The only thing I would ask of them would be to make a nice anemone screen guard to include with it. Otherwise I just some course black sponge into a cone shaped tube and have it stretched over the sides to cover over the inlet.
Great Pump For The Money By Cory on 9/20/2019Cory would recommend this product to a friendI have owned this for a little over a month now. I just ordered a second and installed it last night. For the money I think this does a great job. It is controllable enough to give you some basic flow patterns which was all I was looking for. They are very easy to operate and do not require anything fancy. I have them on my 40 cube measuring 20x20x20 and a single one provided enough flow for my softies and LPS. In a dead quiet room they are barely audible standing close to the tank when on max setting. I added the second to turn the flow down a bit, have two sources of flow and to create a gentle surging action of my corals.
It’s nice for the price but... By Christopher on 7/30/2019Christopher would recommend this product to a friendThis pump doesn’t have the features of a $400 wavemaker but it’s nice for the price. Once in a while it runs in reverse for some reason. It only lasts a second or two and then switches back to normal. I sent the manufacturer two messages weeks ago and they never replied. Hopefully this won’t be a problem in the future. I’m using two linked together in tidal wave mode and they’re great. I’m not sure but it looks like only one can be the master in a group of linked controllers but, that’s not a concern for me.
A few months in By Luke on 7/15/2019Luke would recommend this product to a friendI ordered this smaller version first and its amazing! It's so small i didn't think it would push much water, but holy cow, it gets across a 48 inch tank no problem. I bought the one size larger and they're too powerful. I have to keep them at level one. Great product so far! I just ordered a 60 inch 200 gallon tank and the step up will be perfect!
Very Good Value By Maxwell on 4/27/2019Maxwell would recommend this product to a friendI was once told by another hobbyist that he never tracked spending on his reef tank, he likened reefing to owning a sports car, you just choose to do it and never monitor the cost. That being said, paying $300 to $500 for a single powerhead is excessive. I won't break the bank for such items, I feel the price is not warranted, but that's me. I've only had the Skimz for several days, but I'm extremely impressed for the money; powerful, quiet and a lot of features. I'll report back on reliability as time goes on, but it's nice to see them provide a good solution at a very reasonable price! Thanks to Skimz....
1 pump for budget nano tank By Bee on 2/27/2019Bee would recommend this product to a friendWow is the only thing I can say.. so I was shocked when I open the box and see how big this pump is. The pump is like barely 3inches and the magnet is strong and 0 NOISE IN ALL MODES AND AT MAX SPEED.
Okay I have a 10gal nano tank just started up again so I didn't feel like using my ep10 I wanted something smaller so I gave this a try and I can say at speed 1 and 2 ur corals will love it
Crazy powerful & crazy quiet By Nonemos on 8/27/2018Nonemos would recommend this product to a friendFor the size, can hardly believe how much flow these put out. I like that these can be wirelessly linked to each other too. I can hardly hear them running, even right up by the tank. Lots of neat features, especially for the price.
