The Reef Pro 33 Gallon Aquarium Kit takes the HelloReef 33 Gallon platform and steps things up with more capable, controllable equipment throughout the system. The Hydra Edge 44HD handles reef lighting, while an AquaIllumination Axis 40 and Nero 3 provide independent control over filtration turnover and circulation inside the display. A titanium heater with WiFi temperature controller and dual-sensor automatic top off round out the setup with redundant backup systems to keep your reef safe.

HelloReef 33 Gallon Aquarium & Stand

At the center of the Reef Pro system is the HelloReef 33 Gallon Aquarium, a rimless all-in-one aquarium built from 8 mm ultra-clear glass. Dual overflows feed into separate filter sock chambers for mechanical filtration before water moves through secondary filtration chambers and into the central return pump chamber.

The rear filtration layout keeps equipment and filtration out of the main display while still giving you dedicated space for heaters, filter media, and other equipment. The matching black stand includes storage below the aquarium, with both fixed and adjustable shelving for organizing supplies and equipment.

AquaIllumination Hydra Edge 44HD Reef Lighting

The AquaIllumination Hydra Edge 44HD gives Reef Pro a powerful, highly controllable lighting system designed specifically for reef aquariums. EdgeField optics provide a wide spread with even PAR and color mixing, helping distribute light across the aquarium while reducing harsh hotspots and shadowing.

The Hydra Edge also gives you extensive control over spectrum, intensity, and your daily lighting schedule through the Mobius app. A dedicated moonlight channel allows for nighttime viewing, while the included Hydra Edge Flex Arm provides a clean, adjustable mounting solution over the aquarium.

AquaIllumination Axis 40 Return Pump

The Axis 40 is a compact DC return pump that provides up to 400 GPH of flow and is well matched to the HelloReef 33 Gallon Aquarium. It handles the important job of moving water through the rear filtration chambers and returning it to the display.

Unlike a basic fixed-speed return pump, the Axis 40 can be controlled through the Mobius app. This lets you adjust pump output and operating modes so you can fine-tune filtration turnover to your aquarium rather than being locked into a single flow rate.

Nero 3 App-Controlled Powerhead

While the Axis 40 moves water through the filtration system, the AquaIllumination Nero 3 provides dedicated circulation inside the display. With up to 2,000 GPH of broad flow, the Nero 3 gives you plenty of headroom to create the water movement needed for a mixed reef while keeping a compact footprint inside the aquarium.

Through the Mobius app, you can adjust pump output, choose different flow modes, and create schedules that vary circulation throughout the day. This gives you considerably more control over how water moves around rockwork and throughout the display than a fixed-speed circulation pump.

BRS Titanium Heater with InkBird WiFi Controller

Reef Pro upgrades temperature control with a 100W BRS Titanium Heater paired with an InkBird WiFi Aquarium Heater Controller. Instead of relying on a thermostat built into the heater, the InkBird uses a separate temperature probe and controller to monitor the aquarium and manage power to the heating element.

The controller allows you to set your desired temperature range and monitor the system over WiFi, while the durable titanium heating element handles the actual heating. Separating the heater from the temperature controller gives you a more flexible approach to maintaining stable aquarium temperature.

XP Aqua Duetto2 Dual-Sensor Auto Top Off

As freshwater evaporates from a reef aquarium, salinity gradually rises unless that water is replaced. The XP Aqua Duetto2 handles this automatically using a compact dual-optical sensor that continuously monitors the water level and activates the included top-off pump as needed.

The secondary optical sensor provides an additional layer of overfill protection, while built-in QST programming adds another safeguard against abnormal operation. A BRS 5 gallon bucket with lid is included as a convenient freshwater reservoir, giving the system everything it needs for automatic top off.
