Skimz QuietPro Pumps are full feature pumps that use a brushless 6-pole synchronous motor allowing you to have full control over the flow of the pump from 100% down to 5% while remaining completely silent. The included controller has a LED display that will show you the speed mode you are on, and also the wattage being consumed. Connecting the pump is pretty simple with the included barbed valves. Just slip on your favorite vinyl or silicone tubing.
Skimz gives you control of the pump from 5%-100% through the DC pump controller making it the perfect pump for aquarium equipment ranging from small reactors, closed loop systems and even dedicated return pumps.
Each Skimz QuietPro Pump has a slow start feature that gently ramps the pumps flow up to the desired setting over the course of a few seconds.
The pump will automatically shut off when the temperature either gets too hot, or too cold removing the possibility of the pump damaging itself.
Enter or exit feed mode with a single push of a button on the controller. QuietPro pumps have a 10-minute feed mode and will revert to the same power settings that were being used before feed mode was engaged.

Doesn’t work By Lia on 6/15/2018Lia wouldn't recommend this product to a friendNever was able to use the controller to adjust flow, constantly got E4 error code (run dry) with no debris in pump or other cause. Looking for suitable alternative.
Would not recommend this to anyone By Fishcat on 3/28/2018Fishcat wouldn't recommend this product to a friendOver priced little pump. Might be good for a small waterfall as long as it doesn't have to pump very high.I had it in my sump returning to my tank(less than 3 feet) & it had very little flow, within a few minutes it kept stopping and starting.I ended up putting it in a vat with some spare rock in it just to circulate the water. I wouldn't pay $40 for one.
Junk By Ei1v on 2/15/2018Ei1v wouldn't recommend this product to a friendGot one as a gift from my kids worked 1 day.....1 day and the controller started to give error message e3 and e4 after repeated stops and start. Checked for blockage ...none were found......junk stay away
Stopped working after 2 months By Steve on 1/21/2018Steve wouldn't recommend this product to a friendVery disappointed with this product. It simply stopped working after 2 months of use in my 9 gal reef. The pump itself seems to be fine, the issue looks to be related to the controller or power adapter. It would run intermittently with the voltages going all over the place until it eventually would not start up at all.
Skimz hit it big with the Quite Pro By FLSharkvictim on 12/30/2017FLSharkvictim would recommend this product to a friendI run one of these pumps for my manifold that's hard plumbed to my BRS Dual reactor and my Uv Sterilizer and it works amazing! I have owned many Sicce Pumps which are top of the line, no doubt but like I said above in the subject line, SKIMZ has made a superior DC pump and I would give 5 stars across the board and would HIGHLY recommend the QuitePro.
Best small pump I've owned By TomW on 9/21/2017TomW would recommend this product to a friendI got this pump so I could use a battery to keep the tank running if I lost power however it's remarkably silent. It's much quieter then the Syncra Silent it replaced, so quiet that I thought it wasn't working when I first plugged it in. I can't speak to reliability as I just installed the thing, but the build quality looks great. Great little pump.
Is the Skimz QuietPro 1.2 compatible with Ice Cap Batteries? If so; Are any special adapters required?
Can this be used externally? I’m looking for a DC Pump for my mixing station.
Yes, this pump can be used externally and internally.
Have a great day.
