Reef-Roids was originally produced for feeding the Goniopora genus but later became popular for feeding all filter feeding corals in your saltwater aquarium. Reef-roids is NOT made with processed fish meals or other ingredients that can rapidly degrade water quality. Reef-roids is a mixture of naturally occurring marine planktons including a specific species of zooplankton that is unique to our product. It mixes well into water and does not float to the surface minimizing food waste. For best results, turn off any circulation in your reef tank and use a bottle, syringe or feeding tool to target feed your corals.

Absolutely recommended! By Dave S. on 9/25/2017Dave S. would recommend this product to a friendSame as I said about Reef Chili, it truly works. Doesn't matter what type of coral you have they ALL respond well. It also saves me from having to bother with mixing and preparing frozen foods that are a mess before and after the feeding.
Zoas, Mushrooms, Monti's, Goniopora, Gorgonian, Acropora and others all immediately respond and look better and colors are more vivid also.
This in tandem with Reef Chili Feeds the whole tank including your fish. Easy to mix and a little goes a long way. Easily disperses in your tank and simple to remove through all filtration means. One container will easily last you about a year to 8 months even with daily feeding, depending on the size of your tank of course.
Did not like it... By john on 5/14/2017john wouldn't recommend this product to a friendUsed in my SPS 120and noticed very little feeding response nor increase in growth rate over the course of 3 months.. Only saw a lot of film accumulate on the surface. Also, pollutes water heavily requiring more water changes, tighter management of parameters and robust filtration. Definitely not worth it.
AWESOME Product By Pam on 2/20/2017Pam would recommend this product to a friendI love this product for feeding coral. I combine it with the Reef chili and have seen some GREAT growth on my corals. I even have a few smaller fish that like the extra pieces they can catch.
The best product for corals. By Jaso on 2/5/2017Jaso would recommend this product to a friendI'm very good prodoct.
"Roids" -- Yep, accurate naming. By PR on 1/9/2017PR would recommend this product to a friendI have a new tank with only about 7 relatively new frags sitting in there so far. The LPS in the tank so far are small frags of Galaxea, Brain Coral and Xmas Favia so these were the ones I was primarily looking to feed... and holy cow did they respond. The first time I put this in the tank, target feeding them, they opened up in ways I didn't even know they did! I now add a small amount every day or every other day for broadcast feeding and I target feed it once or twice a week. I have visible growth on these LPS so far -- but they are young frags so I can't say for sure it's from the Roids... but I can tell you they love them. My serpent star and nassarius snails also go nuts when this stuff is in the tank.
Highly recommended, i'm looking forward to seeing long-term effects. Just remember that a little goes a VERY long way... Be judicious with its use.
Amazing Results By DrChop on 8/30/2016DrChop would recommend this product to a friendI have only used Cyclopeeze or Ocean Nutrition Frozen Reef cubes in the past and decided to buy the Nano Reef Roids on the recommendation of my lfs. WOW!! My zoas are loving it as well as my gsp and various other frags. I think my favites brain coral has shown the best improvement in color, growth and overall appearance. The zoas though, wow! spread wide open, happy and full. none are all pinched up at all. we will see over time how the colors blossom, but so far, I have been very impressed. Highly recommend this product.
great By Ruben on 2/1/2016Ruben would recommend this product to a friendso far corals are loving it
@@@@@ By JOE on 12/4/2015JOE would recommend this product to a friendMy wife said it best when I asked her how the tank took to the roids
You know how are dogs act when they get human food well that's what the corals are looking like right now!!
Love it By Chris on 12/24/2014Chris would recommend this product to a friendI mix 1/2 a tsp in a cup of water and then use a turkey baster to gently feed my zoas and general area of my clams. Everything else in the tank gets to catch it out of the water column. With my zoas there is an instant reaction when the Roids drift by. When I consistantly use it I've seen my zoas expand rather well, a frag colony went from on the plug to 5x the size of the original plug in about 8 months....good growth for me.
Massive PE By Kaleb England on 11/9/2014Kaleb England would recommend this product to a friendThis food combined with Reef Chili gives me the most polyp extension of any food I have used to date. Great stuff!
rapid growth in my corals By David on 10/13/2014David would recommend this product to a friendThis stuff is magical. I've been using it for about two months and i've seen tremendous results in all my corals and zoos
this is truly a great product! By turbotone on MR on 1/13/2014turbotone on MR would recommend this product to a friendthe reaction to everything in your tank when you target feed your corals is amazing! mushrooms, ricordeas, polyps, xenias, duncans, leathers, acans & favias all had great responses.. i use a cube of brine shrimp and half a tea spoon to target feed with tank water in a 8 oz cup (after i rinse the cube in rodi water of course) if want to get everything open and ready for feeding turn off your return pump and mix a1/2 a teaspoon with tank water and pour it on your power heads and wait like 5 minutes.. this stuff is crazy!!! i have a 75 gallon mixed reef.. might be running less then recommended but a lil really does go a long way…
