Flow Comes Full Circle

  • Versatile Cross-Flow Pump
  • Control with MyAI, Mobius, or MXM
  • Four Easy-to-Use Pump Modes
  • Ideal for Aquariums 20 Gallons and Larger

Orbit pumps produce a unique type of flow.  Circling the aquarium with water movement-  like the water that moves within the ocean.  Orbit provides a cross-flow current that simulates the tidal flow experienced on ocean reefs that is an excellent mechanism for lifting excess nutrients from the bottom of the aquarium for removal by filtration.

Like ocean currents it is not just one type of flow that makes the reef thrive, but really make your aquarium thrive with flows of all types.  When combined with the directional and random flow patters of our Nero pump line a true recreation of ocean flow can be achieved- powerful, directional, systematic, and chaotic.

Simple Built-In Control

All AI devices include smart control standard. Choose from the myAI or Mobius app on any iOS or Android device to easily set up or program your AI equipment. The Orbit pumps can also be controlled via Apex Fusion by utilizing the MXM module.

Reversible Flow

A interesting feature of the Orbit pump is its ability to not just spin forward but to also spin backwards.  It provides unique opportunities for different flow patterns.

The true power of reverse mode is unlocked when combined with a second orbit pump.  While one pump is pushing the flow in a singular cross-flow direction, a second pump can run in reverse mode to help keep the flow moving across the length of the aquarium.

Included Pump Modes

Constant Speed: A constant stream of flow at the intensity of your choosing.

Pulse: Consisting of uniform high and low levels.

Random: Simulates a high-energy reef environment.

Reverse: Reverse the flow.
