What are dimensions, on how thick of glass will they hold? (Im looking to hang a piece of three inch acrylic feed tube on 11 mm glass)

Are these sealed and intended for use inside the tank? Or are they for the dry side?

The outer magnet is not sealed and meant to be used on the outside of the tank only.
