How Does Neo CO2 Work?

Leveraging the natural process of fermentation, Neo CO2 utilizes yeast's power to transform sugars into CO2. Gelatin acts as a stabilizer, ensuring a controlled and extended release of CO2. This balanced approach provides a steady CO2 level, ideal for photosynthesis, without the complexity or cost of traditional systems.

The Neo CO2 system is best suited for aquariums larger than 10 gallons to prevent CO2 oversupply in smaller tanks.

How do I use Neo CO2?

Setting up the Neo CO2 kit is a breeze. Just follow a few steps and you'll have natural CO2 for your planted aquarium in just over 24 hours.

1) Add 300ml warm water (about 50°C or 122°F) to the bottle

2) Cap the bottle and shake until the content is thoroughly mixed

3) Wait 24 hours - Contents should turn to jelly (do NOT shake after this step)

4) Add 1 pack of Biorefill

5) Add 200ml of warm water (about 30°C or 86°F) to the bottle

6) Connect to your tubing and wait until CO2 is produced

When CO2 stops, pour out the water and repeat steps 4, 5, and 6. The Jelly can be reused.
