Product Questions

Is the mounting leg set compatible with acrylic tanks
Question by: Tim Patterson on Mar 31, 2018, 5:45 PM
The mounting legs are not compatible with eurobraced aquariums unfortunately. Unlikely to be compatible with acrylic tanks unless modified.

My tank has a rim that is just about 1.375 inches. Will this on tank mount work? Will any on tank hydra, radion or kessil mount work?
Question by: Derrek Leute on Jan 20, 2017, 10:51 AM
Hey there,
The Aurora mounting legs are able to accommodate a rim thickness up to 1.3". I'm afraid the Kessil mounts will be similar. Ecotech Radion arm mounts will extend up to about 2".

Have a great day!

I'm planning on a 59" tank (Red Sea Reefer XL 525), and am considering a 48" Aurora.

What width do these brackets span? Mine will need to cover (make up for) a 5-1/2" gap on both sides of the aquarium.
Question by: Brett Burtner on Apr 20, 2016, 11:27 AM
Great question!
These will extend 4" on either side and would not be enough for a 59" tank. Feel free to let us know if you have any further questions.

Does the Giesemann Arora legs fit the Infinity single MH and T5 combo for a 30" tank?
Question by: David on Mar 8, 2016, 2:58 PM
That's a great question! The Aurora and Infinity fixtures actually utilize the same body design, so they mounting legs would be compatible with either fixture. If we can be of further assistance, please let us know. Have a great day and happy reefing!
