The IO Acrylic Series CO2 Diffuser is the innovative approach to in-tank CO2 injection due to the new Nano CO2 Mist Technology ceramic membrane. CO2 passes through its porous surface and then is dissolved readily into streams of tiny bubbles, providing your plants with everything they need to thrive. Aquatic plants provided with stable CO2 injection and fertilization will show their best coloration and health.
The diffuser is compatible with all CO2Art resistant tubing, and the kit also contains two high-quality suction cups for stable diffuser positioning on the aquarium glass.
Two Sizes Available:
- Small - For tanks below 40 gallons
- Large - For tanks above 40 gallons
Diffuser Use
1) Connect your CO2 resistant tubing to the diffuser.
2) Place in the aquarium using the included suction cup mounts and let the diffuser soak in the aquarium water for at least 2 hours before pressurizing the diffuser.
3) It is recommended that you set the pressure on your CO2 regulator to a minimum of 2 bar as a starting point.
Note: In the beginning, the diffuser may release large bubbles around the ceramic ring. Over the first 24h of use, all the ceramic pores will fill with water and bubble size will decrease to the optimal size. Also, allow a few minutes for sufficient pressure to build up to allow the CO2 to begin passing through, it may not begin instantly.
