Full Details

Coralific Delite was developed directly for the nutritional requirements of corals. The innovative food lets you use it in two different ways, target feeding or broadcast feeding. Its gel type consistency that is made when mixed with your tanks water enables you to tailor the thickness of the food for the corals you want to feed. The density of the food allows it to freely float around the water column allowing your corals to grab and snatch the food like it would zooplankton in its natural environment.

Feeding Instructions:

Targeted Gel - Mix two parts tank water to one part Coralific Delite to form a gel. Wait 3 minutes to set then use a dropper to place mixture on the mouth of the coral to be fed. The target feeding method is ideal for many LPS corals and anemones which have larger mouths.

Squirt & Go -Mix four parts tank water to one part Coralific Delite to form a low viscosity liquid with a creamy texture. Use a dropper to squirt food with a slow motion in the vicinity of the corals to be fed. The viscosity can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the amount of tank water. Broadcast feeding is better for corals with smaller mouths like SPS and soft corals.

  • Very good By Kim on 8/19/2017

This product from Hikari turned out to be as good as other coral foods if not more economical to use. I mix it into a watery paste first then use a syringe or a small turkey baster to spot feed the coral after turning off the water flow for 2 hours or less. Currently I am using Coralific and Reef Roids for all my corals.
  • A Coral's Delight By Zindebaad on 4/6/2017

This food is well accepted by my corals and easy to spot feed. Now all I have to do is watch them grow!
  • Stuff is Good, I Tried a Sample By Ken on 12/16/2016

I grabbed a small sample pack of this from a LFS. Mixed it up in the "gel" form, and everything loved it! Definitely going to buy a few packs for feeding!

Product Questions

Won't the copper in this food eventually harm invertebrates?
Question by: Lance on Jan 18, 2017 1:46:00 AM
Great question! Although the manufacturer doesn't state what quantities and for what purposes the ingredients are used, I would guess that the level of copper used is so little that its effects would be very negligible. :-)
