The Comline 3168 is Tunze's largest and most powerful internal power filter. This capable and compact power filter delivers additional water movement while maintaining a clean, minimalist design and near-silent operation. As with other Comline filters, the 3168 includes a built-in surface skimmer, and the refillable filter cartridge makes media changeouts a snap. The Comline filters will efficiently remove surface scum, while the main chamber can accommodate a variety of mechanical and chemical filtration media. The patented magenetic mounts will securely hold the filter on the side of the tank while the silicone rubber dampers prevent any vibration transfer to the glass, keeping noise to a minimum.
An interesting feature of the 3168 is that the Tunze Osmolator 3155 automatic top-off system can be directly mounted to the rear side of the filter. This position ensures optimum water level for the aquarium and the Comline filter while also saving on space.
