These caves are an ideal decoration in aquariums with an Amazonian or rainforest look. Thanks to the natural-looking tree trunk appearance, they fit in beautifully with real wood.

Apart from their appearance, these caves are widely used by breeders of plecos and other L-numbers, giving fish a safe space to hide and deposit eggs. The closed-back design encourages males to guard eggs, increasing the chance of successful breeding.

Beyond breeding, these caves also provide essential hiding places for bottom-dwelling species like botias, kuhli loaches, catfish, shrimp, and crayfish. By reducing stress and aggression, they help create a healthier, more natural environment in your tank.

Breeding Size Guide

• X-Small: For small L-numbers up to 13 cm, such as Bristlenose Ancistrus, L002, L015, L046, L104, L129, L340, L400, L411, etc.
• Small: For L-numbers up to 16 cm. Also suitable as hiding places for crayfish, shrimp, catfish, etc.
• Medium: For L-numbers up to 21 cm, such as L066, L070, L144, L201, L204, and L333.
• Large: For larger L-numbers up to 26 cm, such as L070 and L264.
