This breeding cave is specially designed for the L46 (Hypancistrus zebra), but can be used for a number of small L-numbers, giving them a safe space to hide and deposit eggs. The closed-back design encourages males to guard eggs, increasing the chance of successful breeding.

Beyond breeding, these caves also provide essential hiding places for other small bottom-dwelling species.
