Aquaforest Systems Guide

Bio S is a liquid nitrifying bacterial supplement that contains carefully selected strains that will accelerate the removal of toxic organics and ammonia. It is mostly used for the first couple weeks helping stimulate the start of the nitrogen cycle helping create a balance of bacteria population. Bio S can also be used for curing dry live rock decreasing the overall curing time while populating the rock with beneficial bacteria.

Dosing Instructions:

1 drop per 100 liters (27 Gal) daily for first 2 weeks after initial setup of the aquarium.

  • Doesn't do a thing! By Jon on 5/27/2017

I used the Bio S as directed and it did nothing for cycling my QT. My ammonia never dropped until I completed a water change at the advice of my LSF and that was after adding the Bio S for 14days and waiting an additional 14 days with daily testing. I am not sure if I got a bad batch or what but I am going to try the Red Sea tank maturation program.
