AF Lab Lithium is a highly concentrated lithium supplement for reef aquariums. Lithium is naturally present in seawater and is regularly consumed within the aquarium, making supplementation useful for maintaining levels closer to those found in the natural marine environment.

While the specific role of lithium in marine organisms is not fully understood, Aquaforest recommends maintaining it within the appropriate range to help replicate natural seawater conditions. AF Lab Lithium allows lithium levels to be adjusted based on the consumption and individual needs of the aquarium.

Recommended Dosage

Concentration:
1 mL of AF Lab Lithium increases the lithium concentration by 0.01 mg/L (ppm) in 100 L (27 US gal) of aquarium water.

Recommended Lithium Level:
0.15–0.20 mg/L (ppm)

Dosing Guidance:
Dose according to the lithium consumption of your aquarium and regular water testing.

Maximum Safe Daily Dose:
Do not exceed 4 mL per 100 L (27 US gal) of aquarium water per day. If a larger adjustment is required, divide the total dose over several days.

Every aquarium is different, and the appropriate dosage will depend on coral stocking and the individual needs of the system. Both deficient and excessive micronutrient levels can negatively affect aquarium inhabitants. Adjust dosing based on regular water testing.

Important Note: These dosing instructions apply to the current AF Lab Lithium formula. Older versions of this product may have different concentration and dosing recommendations. Always follow the instructions provided with your specific bottle.
