AF Lab Kalium is a highly concentrated potassium supplement for reef aquariums. Potassium is an important element involved in neurological function and, in soft corals, helps support the transport of nutrients.

In SPS corals, low potassium levels can contribute to faded pink and red coloration. Zeolite-based filtration media may also contribute to potassium depletion. Regular, balanced supplementation with AF Lab Kalium helps maintain potassium within the recommended range while supporting stronger red and pink coloration in SPS corals.

Recommended Dosage

Concentration:
10 mL of AF Lab Kalium increases the potassium concentration by 10 mg/L (ppm) in 100 L (27 US gal) of aquarium water.

Recommended Potassium Level:
360–420 mg/L (ppm)

Dosing Guidance:
Dose according to the potassium consumption of your aquarium and regular water testing.

Maximum Safe Daily Dose:
Do not exceed 20 mL per 100 L (27 US gal) of aquarium water per day. If a larger adjustment is required, divide the total dose over several days.

Every aquarium is different, and the appropriate dosage will depend on coral stocking and the individual needs of the system. Both deficient and excessive micronutrient levels can negatively affect aquarium inhabitants. Adjust dosing based on regular water testing.

Important Note: These dosing instructions apply to the current AF Lab Kalium formula. Older versions of this product may have different concentration and dosing recommendations. Always follow the instructions provided with your specific bottle.
