Commonly used with accessories like RO/DI inputs or calcium reactor feed lines, this flow sensor installs inline on 1/4" tubing and connects to the FMM to report real-time flow rates to your Apex. It features compression fittings for quick and easy installation. The FS-25 is designed to measure flow rates between 3 and 12 gallons per hour.
The sensor has a wire length of 3 meters.

How far away from the FMM can the sensor be installed? My RODI setup (where I want to use this meter) is 40-50 feet away from the FMM unit.

Neptune Systems suggests that it is easier to move the FMM module closer to the sensor and use a longer cable from the controller to the module. You can use https://www.usbfirewire.com/apex.html for a Neptune Systems approved extension cable.

Would this sensor work with Apex dosing pump set to water exchange mode(higher flows)?

The flow sensor is capable of taking readings down to 3gph. The DOS system has a max output of about 4gph, so at maximum output this will register with the meter. With that said, the DOS does have its own calibration and once set should be very consistent and it may be redundant to have a flow meter installed.
