Hatch Baby Brine Shrimp the Easy Way

Baby brine shrimp are one of the easiest and most effective live foods you can add to your reef tank. Fish go crazy for them, they can help entice picky eaters to finally start feeding, and corals benefit from the added nutrition. They’re also a great way to introduce variety into your feeding routine.

With this Hatchery & Eggs Bundle, you get one of the easiest-to-use hatcheries on the market today. The unique design keeps unhatched eggs and shells contained in the outer ring, while newly hatched shrimp naturally seek out the light and swim into the open center section, making harvesting easy, fast, and clean. There are no pumps, lights, heaters, or other equipment required to start hatching a live food source that can benefit your entire reef.

In most cases, the brine shrimp will start hatching in about 18 to 24 hours. A full hatch can take up to 48 hours.

Tip: You don't have to wait until the end of the hatch to start harvesting. Baby brine shrimp are most nutritious the moment they hatch.

    BRS Premium Brine Shrimp Eggs

Bulk Reef Supply's Premium Brine Shrimp Eggs (Artemia franciscana) will produce a minimum of 245,000 baby brine shrimp (nauplii) per gram of cysts making it one of the highest yielding brine shrimp eggs available. Live baby brine shrimp make a great treat for any fish, but can be extremely useful with finicky fish like dragonettes, angels, and wrasses.
