jim would recommend this product to a friendlooks really sharp in my sump and this type of container is way easier to mix the alk in because I can stir while I pour in the soda ash to avoid clumps -

30for30 would recommend this product to a friendThese not only look great, but they work seamlessly too. I'm not sure what happened in the previous reviewers case, but I haven't experienced any air leak whatsoever. I would buy another, in fact that's why I logged on here today. -

MadCityReefer wouldn't recommend this product to a friendI would like to say that this item is great and that it did everything that i needed it to do. However, I have gone through 6 of these which only one has worked properly. It looks very well made and it's absolutely gorgeous to look at rather than a plastic jug. The problem with Vertex dosing container was the constant bubbles getting into the RO line from the dosing container. I checked all fittings and even replaced the RO tubing out with Mur-lok RO tubing purchased from BRS and I still got bubbles in the line. I even hooked it up to a different pump just to see if that was the problem. There were so many bubbles the next morning both the intake and out put RO lines would be drained from any fluids. Heck one of the Vessels I recieved leaked a good amount of fluid from the base. Sorry for the long review but I wanted to share my experience and save people the headache! In Vertex Aquaristik defense I have one of the skimmers and LOVE IT!!
