  I have the 5 Stage Plus BRS RO/DI unit and I wanted the auto shutoff? Is the float valve all I need to add that feature?

  If you have a 5 stage plus (or any of our current units with the exception of the 3 stage) then all you need is the float valve. All the other components are already built in.

  How would I hook up an rodi unit to two drums of water? Do I just split the hose to two different drum and add one float per drum?

  You are correct! That is all that is to it. I would also suggest putting an inline ball valve in front of each float valve so that you can turn one or the other off if needed. It would be the 1/4" inline ball valve that you are looking for, and it can be found right here:

  Hello,
  What size hole is recommended for inserting this float valve? Also what is the tightest radius that this would be safe to install this through (like 5 gallon bucket or 55 gallon trash can)? Thanks!

  Bulk Reef Supply Hey there,
  The part that goes through the side of the container is 7/16ths but most people just use a 1/2" bit. Really any container that won't impact the movement of the float itself will work, so it needs 6-8" where the float sticks out. Outside of that the container can really be any shape or radius, both a 55g can and a 5g bucket will both work fine :-)

  Hello. I currently use the 75 gall drinking water kit and use the MUR-LOK RO INLINE BALL valve to turn on and off the water when I do water changes and top off water. If i use one of these float valves in my storage container, would I just be slipping the line at the end of my valve into the float valve end and that's it? the shut off the ball valve to disconnect line from float valve or do I need to get another auto S/O? Thanks

  Really all you need to do is connect your float valve to the output side of your inline ball valve. The existing auto shut off valve will function for both parts of the unit so no worries there.
