rhino56 would recommend this product to a friendThis replaced a ushio 20k 400 watt bulb, The ushio is not a bad bulb at all, but this has a lot more brightness to it, completely beautiful color to it. I wont need any other bulbs except this now.

Calvin415 wouldn't recommend this product to a friendWow, this is supposed to be a 1000w bulb??? We were forced to replace our Helios 20k bulbs as they have been discontinued, but excited to find the Radium makes a 1000 bulb! That excitement was quickly extinguished once they fired up... These things are no where near as bright as the Helios we just replaced. Good color, but no where near the brightness I would expect from a 1000w bulb. :( Disappointed not only by the lack of light, but since they were twice the price of a Helios, it makes it sting even more. -

Matt would recommend this product to a friendAt least when run on proper HQI ballasts, these give off about 270 watts of the most beautiful 20,000K light I've seen - can't beat it. On plain electronic or other magnetic ballasts these bulbs (150w DE or 250w SE) may be under-driven and give off a much more blue cast - too blue to most people's eyes. -

Don would recommend this product to a friendI love the color of these bulbs. I have 4 over a 96" x 36" x 30" mixed reef. Love taht I don't have to spend extra $ on actinic supplement lighting. Some opinions may vary, as lighting & colors is very much pesonal preference. Great deal and easy transaction here at BRS. -

Bill would recommend this product to a friendThese bulbs are absolutely amazing! No more cheap 20k bulbs for me! I have a 6' 125 gallon mixed reef and I used to have to run 2 6' VHO Super actinics and 1 6' VHO 454 bulb along with my cheap 20k's to get nice coloration. With two Radiums I get beautiful color with no need to enhance with VHO's! Just the savings on electricity alone justifies the expense, and BRS has the best pricing I've found for these! -

Dan W would recommend this product to a friendThese bulbs have great blue color that really make greens, reds, and, blues pop. They are a little pricey but worth the cost. I will use these bulbs again.
