  • Simple solution to protect fish By Deneed4spd on 12/10/2014

Very simple solution to make a top to keep fish in. Easy to make and doesn't need to be maintained. I put a tab at the frame to pull up for feeding.
  • Great Screen By Lakin on 11/17/2014

This screen is easy to apply to a frame with spline. It is light weight and allows light into the tank and it keeps those fish that jump from getting out

  • Best screen to cover any tank! By David on 10/2/2014

I had tried out several other options to cover my tank but every other option would block too much light from going into my tank. I needed to keep fish from jumping out and this netting was perfect to cover any holes which any fish could find! The netting is thin and clear but strong and wont fail. I have now covered all my tanks with this netting and love it! Highly recommend this netting.
  • I recommend this product By Randy on 9/25/2014

Is perfect don't block the light of my tank
  • Must have if you have jumpers, and not a bad idea even if you don't By SL on 8/13/2014

Thanks to the BRS TV video tutorial, this product, and a few parts from the local home improvement store, I now have very clean professional looking screen tops.

My tank has a canopy, but I still lost a firefish to a jump. So as I started considering a wrasse, I knew I had to do something before bringing a known frequent flier into my tank.

My fear was blocking light, but not only does this not block light appreciably, it actually helps blend the Ecotech Radion's colors together. I see less rainbowing and just as much shimmer.

The 1/4" screen keeps all the critters in the tank, and yet is wide enough for food to drop through (eg. from an Apex AFS). It also drastically reduces the amount of water the fish can splash out of the tank (I have an exuberant blue throat trigger).

Take your time building the screens and you'll get a nice clean professional result.
  • Excellent Product By JW on 5/27/2014

Excellent product for screen tops. 1/4" version has no discernible impact on lighting. Hard to find elsewhere.
  • Works great! By vlangel on 5/22/2014

The clear screen worked just like the diy video showed and was easy to make a screen top for my tank. I would recommend it to anyone.
  • Good Stuff By Marc on 5/15/2014

I had a glass top for about a year and a half and got tired of the constant condensation 'blobs' affecting the lighting. It was easy to make the screen top and the screen doesn't block the light. It's probably softer for a jumper to hit the screen as opposed to a glass top as well.
