  i have recently started to use the 5 stage system and installed it under my sink. However, I can't figure out how to turn off the system other than from the water valve. Do I attach the gray and green cut off valve on the blue line and keep the system pressurized and would the waste stop flowing or does it go on the red side.

  It really depends on how your using it. Under normal conditions you would install the valve on the red line going into the unit and turn the valve off when you want the unit to turn off. You can put it on the product water line as well, but this doesn't leave you a way to turn the water off when you want to change the filters, etc.
