I decided to buy this filter as a replacement for my drinking water RO system because it's American made and much higher quality than the one that came with my RO unit. Don't get me wrong, the filter is nice, but every RO unit I can think of that I have come across uses 3/8 fittings in the final polishing filter because the faucet and tank all come standard as 3/8 for better flow. I didn't think there would be any problems seeing as how BRS sells RO units with this same filter installed. So I bought all the adapters to reduce everything from 3/8 to 1/4. Big mistake! My water flow out of the faucet is terrible in comparison to a 3/8 line set up.

The only reason I am keeping it 1/4 is I am getting a delivery pump for an ice maker and will tee of the line to the faucet as well.

The filters are priced right but I highly recommend BRS offer the K2520-cc model of this filter that has the 3/8 female thread so people have some kind of choice. I also recommend they convert their drinking water RO units to 3/8 as well when it's coming to the tank, faucet and final polishing filter.
