I have a RedSea Max S-650 LED and I will like to control the four rear pumps when am feeding can I use this bar with my 2016 apex
Question by: Osvaldo Leon on Jan 15, 2018, 10:05 PM
The Energy Bar 4 will work perfectly with any Apex Controller system. It uses the standard Aquabus (USB Style) connections.

Can I use this as an additional strip on the new Apex system?
Question by: Allan Dalid on May 28, 2017, 8:34 AM
The new Apex is backwards compatible with the previous generation of energy bars, however you will lose some functionality when compared to the EB832. If you are just looking for more controllable outlets, this should work just fine.

Have a great day!

What you don't have an extra USB port on it only extra port on apex doser can you use that
Question by: Chris Brunelle on Dec 18, 2016, 10:40 AM
Great question! I would recommend removing the DOS Aquabus port and plugging this EB4 in it's place, then plug the DOS in the open port on the new EB4. :-)

Can use this on apex gold
Question by: Chris Brunelle on Nov 24, 2016, 7:59 PM
Great question! Yes this will work with the Apex Gold. All you need is an open Aquabus port. :-)
Answer by: Randy on Nov 25, 2016, 7:06 AM
Just to be clear, you can add these to an apex jr setup to have a total of 8 outlets? These are not just a replacement for the original 4 that are given with the setup. Thanks.

Hi Jason,
That is correct. This is an add on energy bar module to add 4 more controllable outlets to your system.
